Recall the days when you, as a child, would listen to winter weather reports and cross your fingers for a snow day. No school, no homework—just you and a backyard of white fluffy powder. Why not grant yourself a grown-up snow day? We're giving away gear to help you step it up a notch: snowshoes, boots, and a pair of gloves that will keep your hands toasty as you throw snowballs with Scouts. In the SNOW DAY GIVEAWAY, three winners will take home one prize that will be randomly assigned from this group: a pair of Kamik KeystoneG winter boots ($240), a set of lightweight MSR Evo snowshoes ($100), and durable Mountain Hardwear Spearhead Mitts ($100). No matter which item you win, this gear will help keep you active and warm during your next snow day. Three winners will be randomly selected, so make sure to enter daily to boost your chances of taking home one of these great new winter gear items. HOW TO WIN Click here to register for a chance to win one of three prizes in the SNOW DAY GIVEAWAY. Enter daily through Feb. 28 to increase your chances of winning. After you've entered the contest, you can tell others about the SNOW DAY GIVEAWAY using a referral link provided on the "Entry Received" page. Copy this link, share it on Facebook, Twitter, e-mail, or other social avenues, and you will receive one "Tell-A-Friend" entry for each friend who enters the giveaway via your link. Three winners will be randomly selected during the week of March 1, and he or she will be contacted by a Scouting magazine editor. Each prize will randomly be assigned to each winner. Once the winners are confirmed, their names, cities, and states will be announced at blog.scoutingmagazine.org. Good luck!
